Reform UK leader Farage says no need to declare $6.7 million personal gift from Tether billionaire.

CoinFeed reported on May 6th that, according to Decrypt, Reform UK leader Nigel Farage stated that a personal gift of $6.7 million (£5 million) from Tether shareholder Christopher Harborne was "unclaimed" and had been "reviewed from all legal angles." Farage claimed the gift was for his personal safety and occurred before his decision to run for Parliament. Harborne also donated £12 million to Reform UK, including £9 million, the largest single political donation by an individual in British history. The British government had previously halted cryptocurrency political donations based on a Rycroft report, fearing they could be used to transfer funds overseas. Harborne's donations were all in non-cryptocurrency form.
