A-shares closed: The ChiNext index rose 1.45%, continuing to hit a new high in nearly 11 years.
CoinFeed reported on May 7th that, according to Jinshi, the three major A-share indices opened higher and continued to rise, with all three indices climbing. The Shenzhen Component Index and the ChiNext Index both rose by more than 1%, while the Shanghai Composite Index approached its previous high. At the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.48%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.18%, the ChiNext Index rose 1.45%, and the Beizheng 50 Index rose 3.05%. The combined turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges was 3.14 trillion yuan, a decrease of 82.9 billion yuan from the previous trading day. On the market, hot sectors rotated rapidly, with over 3,500 stocks rising, and over 100 stocks hitting their daily limit for the second consecutive day. The computing power leasing sector continued its strong performance today, with fiber optics, CPO, and PCB sectors leading the gains. Hangzhou Electric Co., Ltd. hit its second consecutive daily limit, Juguang Technology Co., Ltd. hit its 20% daily limit, and Hongjing Technology, Langke Technology, and Dongyangguang Co., Ltd. reached new historical highs.
