CoinFeed reported on May 7th that several top 30 Layer 1 public chains by market capitalization have recently been compared in terms of finality confirmation time. TON completes block finality confirmation in approximately 0.6 seconds, with the overall time in about 1 second; Avalanche C-Chain and BNB Smart Chain documentation both claim to achieve irreversible finality in about 1 second. Hedera's finality takes about 2-3 seconds, while XRP Ledger and Stellar generally complete ledger confirmation in about 3-5 seconds. Solana uses a delayed confirmation of approximately 32 slots for consensus.
