CoinFeed reported on May 7th that Lido tweeted that, regarding the EarnETH incident related to the Kelp protocol, the Lido community has approved a snapshot vote to enable the first-loss protection mechanism for EarnETH positions when losses fall below a 1% threshold. This mechanism will fully cover any losses suffered by EarnETH users. Previously, Lido had transferred 2,500 stETH to the "DeFi United" rsETH rescue plan; in conjunction with the Aave recovery plan, the attacker's rsETH positions on Aave have been liquidated, and the liquidated collateral has been transferred to Recovery Guardian.
