Spotify launches AI-generated personal podcasts that can be saved to your personal library for listening.

CoinFeed reported on May 8th, citing MacRumors, that Spotify has launched a new feature allowing users to save personal podcasts generated by AI agents directly to their Spotify library for listening. After installing and logging into the "Save to Spotify CLI" on their desktop, users can use AI encoding agents such as OpenAI and Anthropic to generate daily news summaries, audio for homework review, or travel guides, which can then be managed and played within the Spotify app alongside music and regular podcasts. This feature is currently in beta and is available to eligible free and paid subscribers worldwide. Spotify has noted that usage will be capped during the beta period.
