CoinFeed reported on May 13th that, according to Bits.media, several Telegram usernames and virtual numbers recently sold at record prices in TON tokens. Shortly after, scammers attempted to steal other premium numbers. Last weekend, an anonymous buyer purchased the Telegram username @danbao for 1.58 million TON (approximately $2.1 million), setting a new record for the most expensive transaction on the platform. Subsequently, @boss sold for 500,000 USDT, the premium number +888 8222 sold for 520,000 TON (approximately $650,000), and +888 8899 sold for 423,900 TON. However, hours after the transactions, attackers launched targeted attacks on the NFT trading platform Getgems using counterfeit USDT. A Chinese collector lost the premium number +888 8321, worth over $800,000.
