NFL All Day halts new NFT issuance; Dapper Labs says it has signed a new licensing agreement with the NFL.

CoinFeed reported on May 15th that, according to Decrypt, Dapper Labs announced that its NFL All Day digital collectibles platform, in partnership with the NFL, will cease issuing new NFTs, but existing collectibles will still be available for purchase and sale on the marketplace. Dapper Labs CEO Roham Gharegozlou stated that the company has signed a new licensing agreement with the NFL and will announce details closer to the next season. As part of the adjustment, the platform will offer collectors a "Founder Collector" label and introduce a 5% rebate on their Dapper balance, but these rebates will only be released after holding the purchased items for one year. Following the announcement, NFL All Day marketplace transactions surged, exceeding $53,000 on Thursday, with the number of sellers jumping from less than 100 last week to over 400 on Thursday.
