CoinFeed reported on May 15th that Sui announced the launch of a new model called Sui Spheres, providing institutions with a controlled execution environment that supports multi-party workflows, governance participation, role-based visibility, and predictable execution. Sui stated that most real-world workflows require multiple counterparties, selective visibility, predictable performance, and flexible cost models, but existing systems are either open networks or private silos, neither of which are suitable. Sui Spheres allows institutions to start from a controlled environment and connect to the external ecosystem when needed, including liquidity, settlement, and interoperability. Sui is advancing this model in collaboration with design partners in the capital markets and enterprise sectors.
