THORChain suffered a suspected attack resulting in losses exceeding $7.4 million; trading on the protocol has been suspended.

CoinFeed reported on May 15th that, according to ZachXBT, the cross-chain protocol THORChain appears to have been attacked on the Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Base networks, with losses potentially exceeding $7.4 million. THORChain community members stated on Discord that they detected unusual transaction activity originating from the TC Router and subsequently advised nodes to implement a global emergency halt. The protocol has currently suspended transaction functionality.
