CoinFeed reported on May 16 that, according to official data, in the seven days ending May 14, Circle issued approximately 5.4 billion USDC and redeemed approximately 7.1 billion USDC, resulting in a decrease of approximately 1.7 billion USDC in circulation. The total circulating supply of USDC is 76.5 billion, with reserves of approximately $76.7 billion, including approximately $48.3 billion in overnight reverse repurchase agreements; approximately $16.1 billion in Treasury bonds with maturities of less than three months; approximately $11.9 billion in systemically important institution deposits; and approximately $500 million in other bank deposits.
