PeckShield: Adshares cross-chain bridge hackers return over 80% of stolen funds

CoinFeed reported on May 18th that, according to PeckShield, the attackers in the Adshares cross-chain bridge hack have returned 256 ETH to the project's deployment address, worth approximately $540,700 at current prices, representing about 86% of the previously stolen funds. Previously, on May 17th, 2026, the Adshares cross-chain bridge was exploited, resulting in a loss of approximately $628,000.
