122 million EIGEN tokens were unlocked and redeemed from staked tokens seven hours ago, representing 16.5% of the total circulating supply.

CoinFeed reported on May 22 that, according to on-chain analyst Yu Jin, seven hours ago, a group of addresses belonging to the investment institution Polychain unlocked and redeemed 122 million EIGEN tokens from the staking contract of EigenCloud, representing 16.5% of the circulating supply of EIGEN. These EIGEN tokens originated from investment allocations in 2024 and were unlocked and redeemed from the staking contract of EigenCloud (formerly EigenLayer), a leading restaking platform. Currently, these EIGEN tokens remain in the addresses and have not been further transferred.
