CoinFeed reported on May 26 that, according to Cryptopolitan, a plaintiff using the pseudonym "Noah Doe" has filed a lawsuit in a New York court seeking ownership of 39,069 dormant Bitcoin wallets, including one containing an address belonging to Satoshi Nakamoto. These wallets are estimated to hold approximately 3.7 million Bitcoins, worth about $290 billion. The plaintiff, through two Wyoming shell companies, ABC Company and XYZ Company, filed a 901-page lawsuit on May 1, claiming that the Bitcoins qualify as "abandoned property" under New York's lost property law.
