Bitget launches RWA protocol Reality, directly connecting to US stock market liquidity and supporting dividend payments.
CoinFeed reported on May 26 that Bitget announced the launch of Reality, a licensed financial protocol focused on the tokenization of Real-World Assets (RWA). Its tokenized stocks (rTokens) are strictly pegged 1:1 to underlying US stocks, with assets held in custody by a FINRA-registered, SIPC-protected US securities brokerage and provided with real-time reserve verification through an independent third-party audit. By directly accessing liquidity pools of US stock exchanges such as Nasdaq and the NYSE, Reality's stock tokens achieve liquidity comparable to traditional brokerages. Simultaneously, stock dividends are distributed 1:1 to user accounts in token form, cash dividends are automatically converted to USDT, and stock splits and mergers are mapped to on-chain tokens in real time, providing an experience highly consistent with holding US stocks.
