Superfortune has confirmed a security incident, stating that "addresses in multisignature transactions were altered."
CoinFeed reported on May 28th that Superfortune, incubated by Manta, announced on the X platform that the team is investigating a security incident involving the GUA token that occurred on May 27th, which caused significant price volatility. Preliminary investigations suggest the incident may have involved address tampering during a multi-signature transaction. The announcement stated that the plan was to send additional unlocked tokens to the airdrop claim contract address, but during transaction execution, the funds were mistakenly sent to another hacker address. The team stated that this hacker address had never interacted with SUPERFORTUNE-related addresses before, therefore, an "address poisoning attack" is unlikely. The team also stated that its internal processes include multiple address verification mechanisms, and the team is continuing its investigation and will update the community on the latest developments.
