CoinFeed reported on May 30th that, according to Front Office Sports, former NBA player Tristan Thompson is suing UK-based crypto company World Mobile Group, accusing it of fabricating excuses to terminate a $2 million endorsement deal and continuing to use his name, image, and image rights without authorization. Thompson claims that under an agreement signed in May 2025, he was promised up to $2 million worth of the company's cryptocurrency tokens, WMTX. He states that he has consistently fulfilled his obligations under the agreement, including promoting the company on social media and participating in public events, but the company terminated its partnership with him in March of this year.
