However, he expressed regret regarding the subsequent price of Bitcoin after the donation. The main reason was his opposition to the ideology behind Bitcoin at the time; he considered it an "oligopoly currency," a dangerous illusion of depoliticized money, and unable to escape the framework of politics and public governance.
