Wintermute enters the prediction market, providing bilateral liquidity to narrow spreads.

CoinFeed reported on June 1st that, according to Cointelegraph, crypto liquidity provider Wintermute announced its entry into the prediction market space, providing two-sided market liquidity for prediction contracts on leading platforms. Jake Ostrovskis, Head of OTC Trading at Wintermute, stated that prediction markets exhibit demand characteristics across major asset classes, but liquidity is still in its early stages, requiring sustained two-sided liquidity to narrow spreads, support larger trading volumes, and improve the reliability of implied market probabilities. Wintermute currently manages $3.5 trillion in annual trading volume across spot, derivatives, DeFi, and OTC crypto markets.
