The crypto industry has established the Defend Developers PAC to promote legislation protecting developers.

CoinFeed reported on June 3rd that, according to The Block, a new political action committee for the crypto industry, Defend Developers PAC, has been formed, focusing on promoting legal protection for blockchain software developers. Initiated by executives and policy leaders from institutions such as the DeFi Education Fund, Solana Policy Institute, and Uniswap Labs, the organization advocates for the Clarity Act and its Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act (BRCA) to clarify that non-custodial developers are not considered "transferors of funds," thus exempting them from related licensing and anti-money laundering obligations.
