CoinFeed reported on June 7th, citing the Financial Times, that OpenAI is preparing for its biggest upgrade to ChatGPT since its launch. The $850 billion conglomerate plans to find new growth engines before its IPO this year. The company intends to transform the chatbot into a "super app," integrating programming tools and AI agents, and adding several products that executives believe will generate higher revenue. According to more than a dozen current and former employees, these adjustments are part of OpenAI's overall restructuring plan. OpenAI is allocating resources to aggressively pursue high-margin enterprise clients and intensify competition with rival Anthropic.
