British media reports that Iran has significantly reduced its toll fees for passage through the Straits of Hormuz.

CoinFeed reported on June 7th that, according to Xinhua News Agency citing the British newspaper Lloyd's Ship Daily, some ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz are now paying over $100,000 per ship in exchange for Iranian passage permits, a significant decrease compared to the early stages of the conflict. The report, citing shipping security operators, stated that the maximum fee for a single passage for bulk carriers is currently $120,000, and for tankers, it can reach $160,000. The specific rate fluctuates depending on factors such as ship type, cargo, and shipowner's nationality, representing a significant decrease compared to the $1 million to $2 million per ship charged at the beginning of the conflict.
