Coinbase executives call for tax exemption thresholds for small Bitcoin payments.

CoinFeed reported on June 10 that, according to Bitcoin Magazine, Coinbase's VP of Taxation, Lawrence Zlatkin, has proposed to US lawmakers to establish a de minimis capital gains tax exemption threshold for everyday small Bitcoin transactions, arguing that "Americans shouldn't need to hire an accountant just to buy a pair of jeans with BTC."
