Spanish bank Cecabank launches cryptocurrency custody service

CoinFeed reported on June 11 that, according to PRNewswire, Spanish bank Cecabank has launched a crypto asset custody service for financial institutions, with Renta 4 Banco as its first client and Bit2Me as its partner. Cecabank provides the custody infrastructure, while Bit2Me provides the execution platform, liquidity, and market access. The service covers crypto asset services such as custody, order taking and transmission, and transfers. Cecabank was registered as a crypto asset service provider by the Bank of Spain in November 2024 and received its MiCA license in July 2025.
