CoinFeed reported on June 11 that, according to Reuters, Polish President Karol Nawrocki vetoed a cryptocurrency regulatory bill for the third time. The bill, aimed at implementing the EU's Crypto-Asset Market Regulation (MiCA), was due to be approved by Poland by July. The Polish parliament had previously passed the bill in May, amidst the scandal surrounding the collapse of the country's largest cryptocurrency exchange and a dispute over regulatory responsibilities. Nawrocki expressed support for regulation and consumer protection, but stated that the government had not adopted most of the previous amendments suggested by the presidential office in the latest version, emphasizing that the bill would only be signed into law if parliament revised it according to his opinions.
