Musk appeared at the bell-ringing ceremony: SpaceX's goal is to send humans to the moon, Mars, and ultimately to even more distant interstellar destinations.
CoinFeed reported on June 12th that Elon Musk spoke at the bell-ringing ceremony at SpaceX's Starport facility on Friday morning (US time), maintaining his characteristically candid and outspoken style. Reflecting on early investors who were bullish on SpaceX, he recalled, "I thought to myself, 'You guys must have gotten a lot of good stuff, because I felt this company was destined to fail.'" Musk wore his signature leather jacket over a black SpaceX-themed T-shirt. Behind him stood a giant image of Mars, with employees standing between it. Musk stated, "SpaceX's goal is to send humans to the Moon, Mars, and ultimately, to the more distant reaches of space." After the bell-ringing ceremony, Nasdaq's live stream played Elton John's "Rocketman." During the ceremony, Musk, as always, began his speech with frankness.
