Claude recommends that users switch to other models besides Fable 5 as soon as possible.

CoinFeed reported on June 13th that Claude, forwarding a ClaudeDevs announcement, stated that due to a US government directive suspending all user access to Fable 5, this adjustment will impact some workflows, and users need to switch to other models as soon as possible. Currently, new sessions in Claude products will default to the user-defined default model or Opus 4.8, and existing Fable 5 sessions will directly return errors and terminate. Furthermore, all API requests to Fable 5 on the Claude Platform will also return errors, and developers need to migrate their integrations to other Claude models as soon as possible.
