CoinFeed reported on June 14th, citing Reuters, that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg told employees in an internal memo that the company made some mistakes in its AI transformation through layoffs and role reassignments. "Given the complexity of these changes, we've made some mistakes, and we'll almost certainly make more," he added, stating that he is "committed to maintaining as much stability as possible in future organizational changes." Meta laid off 10% of its workforce in May and reassigned 7,000 employees to AI-related roles. Zuckerberg stated that Meta does not expect any further company-wide layoffs this year and will work to find new positions for employees reassigned to AI model training.
