A major whale has added another 9,000 ETH to its short position, bringing its total short position to 44,000 ETH.

CoinFeed reported on June 16th that, according to on-chain analyst Yu Jin, a whale who recently shorted ETH continued to increase its position after the ETH rebound. It borrowed 9,000 ETH from Aave, transferred it to Binance, and then withdrew 16.37 million USDT. It currently has 44,000 ETH shorted (US$78.89 million), with an average shorting price of US$1,702, resulting in a floating loss of US$3.08 million.
