CoinFeed reported on June 16th that Humanity announced its recovery plan following the $H hack. The original $H token has been delisted from Ethereum, BSC, and Humanity Mainnet. A new, audited ERC-20 contract has been deployed on Ethereum, and new $H tokens will be airdropped to eligible addresses at a 1:1 ratio based on the pre-attack snapshot balance (including holdings across the three chains). Attacker addresses linked to North Korea were excluded from the airdrop. Users who experienced complex scenarios or purchased and still hold the tokens after the snapshot can claim compensation through the official compensation fund and KYC verification. Humanity Mainnet will subsequently restart with the new $H token as its gas token. The team stated that they are coordinating the migration with major centralized exchanges, bridges, and liquidity providers.
