RetoSwap: The Haveno protocol has been attacked; minimum client version has been upgraded and trading has been suspended.
CoinFeed reported on June 17th that RetoSwap disclosed in a post on its X platform that the team received a report at 2:02 AM (Beijing time) today that the Haveno trading protocol was under attack. They immediately implemented a filter to set the minimum client version to 2.0.0, suspended trading, and blocked the attacker's onion address. RetoSwap stated that the team was not attacked, and the vulnerability was at the Haveno protocol level. The loss appears to be limited to large cryptocurrency orders; fiat currency traders were unaffected. The team is evaluating solutions to help affected traders recover. Trading will resume after the protocol is fixed. Previously, on May 21st, it was reported that RetoSwap suffered a loss of approximately $2.7 million due to a vulnerability in the Haveno protocol.
