ECB President Reportedly Pressures Greece to Block Binance’s MiCA License Application

CoinFeed June 18 news, The Block reporter Gareth Jenkinson posted on X that reliable sources revealed ECB President Christine Lagarde directly ordered Greece to reject Binance’s MiCA license application. Sources say Binance had essentially obtained approval from Greek regulators, but was blocked after ECB intervention. Jenkinson stated that if the ECB ultimately controls such decisions, it is not good news for the crypto industry. Additionally, according to Cryptopolitan, Binance is now turning to France as the only remaining path to obtain MiCA authorization, but has not yet formally submitted an application.
