CoinFeed reported on June 18 that SlowMist founder Cos posted on X platform stating that Aztec is suspected of being hacked again. Its Private Rollup Bridge address had three suspicious exploits (total value approximately $2.15 million): the attacker used the Escape Hatch mechanism of Aztec RollupProcessor, submitted rollup proofs acceptable to validators within the open window, exploited a vulnerability in the processDepositsAndWithdrawals function, and successively constructed three withdrawals: 1,158 ETH, 150,000 DAI, and 0.4696 renBTC, directly releasing assets from the contract's custodial reserves to the attacker.
