Changer.ae and DeScript Labs Sign MoU to Advance Crypto Payment Settlement in AED for UAE Merchants

CoinFeed June 18 news, according to Gulf News, Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) licensed virtual asset custodian Changer.ae and digital asset settlement and merchant technology company DeScript Labs (PayTheFly) have signed a one-year non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The two parties will combine Changer.ae's compliant custody and asset conversion capabilities with DeScript Labs' merchant technology (including PayTheFly) to explore a compliant pathway for merchants in high-value sectors such as UAE real estate, automotive, and luxury goods to accept digital asset payments and settle in AED fiat currency, and provide corporate clients with digital asset-to-fiat clearing and treasury solutions, reducing price volatility risks and improving local and cross-border settlement efficiency.
