CoinFeed June 18 news, according to The Block, the early Ethereum project The DAO, which had about 3.6 million ETH stolen by a hacker exploiting a reentrancy vulnerability ten years ago, has now restarted the over 75,000 unclaimed ETH (currently worth about $130 million) recovered at that time into a long-term Ethereum security fund. The fund will stake the ETH, generating about $8 million in annual yield to support security research, tool development, and emergency response, managed by seven curators including Vitalik Buterin, and operating in coordination with the Ethereum Foundation's "Trillion Dollar Security" project.
