According to the passage requirements issued by the "Persian Gulf Strait Authority", vessel transit applications must be submitted at least 48 hours before arriving in the Strait of Hormuz area. The United States and Iran announced the official text of the memorandum of understanding reached by both sides on the 17th. According to the text, after the signing of the memorandum of understanding, the United States will immediately begin lifting the maritime blockade on Iran, and Iran will make every effort to arrange for commercial vessels to travel safely and free of charge between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman within a 60-day period.
