Securitize asks court to dismiss tZERO's "baseless" tokenization patent allegations

CoinFeed June 23 news, according to The Block, tokenization platform Securitize has filed a lawsuit against digital securities infrastructure company tZERO, asking a federal court to rule that it does not infringe tZERO's tokenization-related patents. Previously, tZERO sent a cease-and-desist letter to Securitize, accusing its DS Protocol and Vault Registrar products of infringing two patents involving self-executing security tokens and crypto-integrated infrastructure, and demanded that Securitize stop commercializing the related products by June 18, or else it would seek injunctive relief and monetary damages.
