ByteDance Seedance 2.5 Expected to Officially Launch in Early July, Supporting Single-Segment Native 30-Second Videos

CoinFeed, June 23 - According to National Business Daily, at the 2026 Volcano Engine FORCE Conference on June 23, Volcano Engine President Tan Dai officially announced the Doubao video generation model Seedance 2.5. The model is currently in global enterprise beta testing and is expected to officially launch in early July. On-site presentations showed that Seedance 2.5 has undergone multiple core capability upgrades, supporting direct output of single-segment native 30-second videos and the ability to import up to 50 full-modal reference materials simultaneously, achieving more controllable and refined video generation and editing. Additionally, the conference announced an upgrade to the previous generation Seedance 2.0, which now has native 4K video generation capability. The conference also previewed ByteDance's new AI copyright commercialization platform, with Stephen Chow becoming one of the platform's first partners.
