Nethermind and UBS Test Ethereum Compliance Infrastructure, Enabling Institutional Regulatory Needs on Public Chains

CoinFeed, June 23 - In two proof-of-concepts jointly completed by Ethereum infrastructure team Nethermind and UBS, the parties demonstrated that regulated banks and asset management institutions can achieve strong compliance controls on public, permissionless networks without modifying the Ethereum protocol itself. On the Ethereum Sepolia testnet, the team built and verified a node capable of imposing custom compliance rules on outgoing transactions, as well as a component that routes approved transaction packages to specific block builders, with no real funds involved throughout the process.
