Tencent Launches Payment App TenPayGo for Overseas Tourists

CoinFeed June 23 news, according to Mobile Payment Network, Tencent recently launched TenPayGo, a dedicated payment app for overseas tourists visiting China, on the Apple App Store. The app is currently version 1.0, supports only English, and allows users to pay directly with TenPayGo at all merchants that support WeChat Pay, without needing to exchange cash or prepare change, and can view transaction records and manage bills. Tencent positions TenPayGo as an "all-in-one daily companion" for tourists visiting China, with plans to gradually add more local transportation and lifestyle service features within the app.
