CoinFeed June 25 news, according to iGB reports, the Curaçao Gaming Control Board (CGA) has released cryptocurrency policy guidelines for B2C online gambling license holders, covering the full lifecycle requirements of crypto deposits, betting, withdrawals, and fund management, to be implemented in phases through mid-2027. Core requirements include: licensees may only accept cryptocurrency for gambling purposes, and cannot act as an exchange or custodian; must have blockchain analytics capabilities for wallet screening and transaction monitoring; prioritize fiat-backed stablecoins, while privacy coins and Meme coins of unknown origin require assessment or prohibition; player, operational, and fund wallets must be segregated. The CGA requires immediate prohibition of sanctioned wallets and mixer-related transactions, submission of compliance policies within three months, completion of risk assessments and staff training within six months, and full compliance by June 2027. The guidelines align with FATF international standards.
