SecondFi Announces Progress on Cardano Wallet Attack, Two Attackers Identified

CoinFeed June 25 news, Cardano wallet service provider SecondFi released the latest update on the theft, stating that addresses related to two attackers have been identified. SecondFi said that between June 21 and 23, a complex automated attack siphoned funds from hundreds of Cardano wallets in three waves: Attacker A drained 171 wallets in two batch operations, and Attacker B drained 203 wallets in the third wave. SecondFi published multiple collection addresses and the stake keys of the two attackers, and pointed out that approximately 4.02 million ADA remain in the designated address of Attacker B, which has been flagged and is under on-chain monitoring.
