Bitcoin Plunge Triggers Approximately $600 Million in Long Liquidations Across the Network
CoinFeed June 25 news, according to CoinGlass report, over the past hour the crypto contract market saw liquidations of approximately $635 million, of which long positions accounted for about $597 million, short positions about $38.16 million, with long positions making up around 94%. By exchange, Binance saw liquidations of about $279 million, Hyperliquid about $185 million, Bybit about $80.6 million, all dominated by long forced liquidations. By asset, BTC saw liquidations of roughly $329 million in the past hour, ETH about $140 million, while XRP, SOL, HYPE and others also experienced liquidations in the millions of dollars. Over the past 24 hours, total network liquidations reached approximately $1.457 billion, with around 215,700 traders being forced to liquidate, mainly long positions.
