Stablecoin Google Search Volume Plummets Over 50% Monthly, Supply Expansion Stalls

CoinFeed June 25 news, according to The Block, the search interest for 'stablecoins' on Google read only 31 in June, annualized about 45, down about 54% from 98 in May, far below the peak of 100 in August 2025. During the same period, total stablecoin supply peaked in early June 2026 after 10 consecutive months of expansion, just under $300 billion, then fell by about $5 billion over the next three weeks, with a cumulative year-to-date increase of only about 0.23%, a significant slowdown compared to 56% and 46% in 2024 and 2025 respectively.
