SecondFi: Final snapshot of affected user assets completed, asset return expected to start in about two weeks
CoinFeed reported on June 26 that Cardano wallet service provider SecondFi released an update on the latest theft incident, stating that the team has completed the final balance snapshot of affected users' assets. Multiple rounds of snapshots were continuously recorded during the incident response period as a basis for subsequent asset recovery and verification. SecondFi stated that the engineering and security teams are advancing the asset recovery plan, and asset return is expected to start in about two weeks, with one week for achieving a feasible technical solution and one week for testing and review. The specific timeline may be adjusted slightly based on progress. The platform will resume operations only after passing a comprehensive security review. Currently, users only need to submit support requests through the official website ticket system, with no additional actions required.
