U.S. allows trusted partners to use Anthropic's Mythos 5 AI model

This move eases the dispute between Anthropic and the U.S. government. Previously, the U.S. government suddenly banned Anthropic from opening Fable 5 and Mythos 5 to foreign nationals, citing security concerns. The letter dated Friday did not mention any adjustments to the use restrictions of the Fable 5 model. U.S. Commerce Department spokesman Benno Kass said: "In just two weeks, we worked hard to ensure that the United States continues to lead the global AI field while maintaining national security."
