Apple Vision Pro Project Executive Paul Meade to Depart, Joining OpenAI Hardware Division

CoinFeed June 27 news, according to Bloomberg, Apple executive Paul Meade, who is in charge of the Vision Pro and smart glasses projects, is about to leave the company and join OpenAI. Paul Meade joined Apple in 2010, initially working on the iPhone and iPad teams. In 2017, he moved to the visual products team and has been serving as the head of the Vision Pro hardware engineering team. Recently, he has been mainly responsible for advancing the AI smart glasses project and leading the AR glasses development team. Meade will leave Apple next week and join OpenAI's hardware division to participate in AI device research and development work.
