Musk: Grok 4.5 enters private testing at SpaceX and Tesla, performance may approach or even surpass Opus

CoinFeed June 28 news, Musk posted on X platform stating that the Grok 4.5 version built on the 1.5T V9 f base model has entered private testing phase within SpaceX and Tesla, and Cursor data was added during supplementary training. Early evaluations show that the model's performance is close to or may even surpass Opus level. Musk also pointed out that reinforcement learning (RL) continues to significantly improve the model's capabilities, and the Grok Build training framework is also continuously iterating and optimizing. Additionally, Musk revealed that new models trained entirely from scratch by SpaceX will be released continuously at a rate of once per month this year.
