BitMEX Replaces CEO, CFO, and Head of Growth

CoinFeed June 29 news, according to CoinDesk report, crypto exchange BitMEX has reshuffled its executive team. CEO Stephan Lutz, CFO Ina Steiner, and Chief Growth Officer Raphael Polansky have all departed, with former general counsel and chief operating officer Peter Wilkinson taking over as CEO. BitMEX was co-founded by Arthur Hayes, Ben Delo, and Samuel Reed in 2014. In 2020, it was charged with inadequate anti-money laundering measures and later pleaded guilty. The three co-founders resigned shortly after criminal charges were filed in the US. Lutz took over as CEO during the previous crypto downturn in 2022.
