SecondFi Issues Update on User Asset Recovery Progress: Entire Process May Exceed Previously Estimated Two-Week Cycle

CoinFeed reported on June 29 that SecondFi issued a recovery progress update, focusing on returning user assets, securely migrating assets, and on-chain recovery plans. Regarding the assets transferred by the attacker, Emurgo has injected funds into a dedicated asset recovery wallet to return funds to affected users. Assets protected through SecondFi's emergency response are currently in a secure and usable state, and the team is negotiating a custody and return mechanism with IntersectMBO. SecondFi stated that it will advance the on-chain recovery plan with the Cardano community working group, but the entire process may exceed the previously estimated two-week cycle. The official reiterated that it will not solicit private keys, mnemonic phrases, or direct message users in any form; users should only submit tickets for help through the official website support channel.
