A-shares Half-Year Closing: STAR 50 Soars Over 64% in H1, ChiNext Gains Over 35%

Looking at first-half market performance, the three major indexes all closed higher, delivering impressive results. The STAR 50 Index surged over 64% in the first half, leading the gains, while the ChiNext Index rose over 35%. Sector performance showed extreme structural divergence; overall, more stocks fell than rose, with the median stock price change exceeding -14.0%. However, over 100 stocks still gained more than 200% in the first half. Tech stocks attracted capital inflows, with hot sectors such as the semiconductor supply chain, CPO, and PCB taking turns in active trading. Among semiconductor material stocks, CSSC Special Gas surged over 770%, becoming the first-half 'stock king'. Among the top five gainers in the first half, two were PCB concept stocks, including Honghe Technology and Goldenmax, both surging over 600%.
